New ANI-compatible supplemental healthcare offering

Gan has anticipated the requirements of its business customers and launched the first supplemental healthcare offering that is compatible with the provisions of the national interprofessional agreement on employment (ANI), which makes it compulsory for all employees in the private sector to have access to mutual insurance.

The ANI will come into effect on 1 January 2016. The Group is targeting company heads whose employees have private healthcare insurance as a priority, before widening its target audience later. The Group will then be in a position to propose an extended package to employees who are already insured by their employer, so that they benefit from better coverage. In light of the current economic climate, the market participants anticipate that many employers will adopt the minimum care package as defined by the law.
